CPS Lab Team Shines Among Top 10 Finalists at NariYukti Tech Hack – 2025

We are excited to share that the talented team from CPS Lab, comprising Vajratiya Vajrabol (Team Leader), Harshita Sharma, and mentor Nitisha Agarwal, has secured a spot among the Top 10 Finalists at the NariYukti Tech Hack 2025. This national-level, 24-hour hackathon, hosted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, took place on January 24-25, 2025, and brought together brilliant minds from across the country to tackle some of today’s most pressing technological challenges.

The NariYukti Tech Hack, now in its 9th edition, is a special platform designed to encourage and inspire women in computing. This year, participants had the opportunity to choose from six intriguing problem statements, and the CPS Lab team selected the challenge of Multilingual Computing, specifically focusing on the development of AI-powered chatbots for education.

The team’s innovative project featured a multilingual chatbot capable of supporting four Indian languages, along with a sentiment analyzer for six languages, aimed at improving the educational experience for students. Some standout features of the project included tailored resume creation, personalized course recommendations, AI-driven career counseling, and feedback-based sentiment analysis to enhance learning experiences. Their hard work, creativity, and determination truly shone through during the hackathon, and while they received helpful feedback to refine their project further, the impact of their work was clear.

The hackathon also provided an excellent opportunity for participants to collaborate, learn from each other, and network with experts from the tech industry. With this achievement, the team’s journey continues as they work towards expanding their project, exploring ways to integrate multilingual AI into educational platforms, and helping make learning more accessible to all.

We are immensely proud of the CPS Lab team and their dedication to creating solutions that matter. Congratulations to Vajratiya Vajrabol, Harshita Sharma, and Nitisha Agarwal for their impressive achievement, and we look forward to seeing their continued success!
